Mud Flats at San Pedro del Pinatar
At the northern corner of Mar Menor is San Pedro Pinitar, where in one of the lagoons there there is the most fantastic mud. All the Spanish get into the lagoon, which is no more than waist height, and scoop up handfulls of mud, which they cover themselves in. You dry off in the sun, the mud baking onto your skin, and afterwards you jump back in to wash it all back off! Fantastic!
